Andyco Gets Wired: 1995-2002

Andy V and Andyco.com become a household word.

Andy V, the youngest Andy ever to lead the company, takes control of Andyco in 1995 and quickly repositions the company as a major player in the new Internet economy.

Widely thought of as an Internet wiz kid, business and government leaders from across the globe seek his advice on a broad range of issues, while many national publications list Andy V as one of the world's "most eligible bachelors". Meanwhile, Andyco.com becomes the new darling of Wall Street, setting record highs and racking huge quarterly earnings.

Andy V's "four table legs of success" are quality, value, innovation, and huge profits. If one is missing, he says, the table will wobble and you'll end up with "a lap full of sushi and dry martini".

Andy V interests include making money, talking about making money, and thinking about making money. He also enjoys the occasional round of golf, and quiet evenings by the fire with a bottle of Pinot and his long-haired Persian (and COO), Mrs. Beasley.

Though Andyco's stock is has recently fallen 97% from its market highs, Andy contends the best days are ahead and looks forward to leading Andyco.com well into the new century.

October 7, 1999 -- President Clinton consults with Andy V on Internet security matters and Chinese trade policy.

Return

Andyco changes its name to Andyco.com, to better reflect the company's increased Internet emphasis, while updating their slogan from "Quality You Can Really Dig", to the more universal "Everything to Everybody."

National Bestseller!
Andy V makes a splash with his instant self-help classic "Table By The Window.

Using a restaurant metaphor for success in today's business environment, Andy guides you through his "Four Table Legs of Success": quality, value, innovation, and huge profits. If one is missing, he explains, the table will wobble and you'll end up with "a lap full of sushi and dry martini". Future industrialists everywhere have learned how the winners of the new economy will be eating dessert from their window seat, while the losers sit by the men's room door waiting for their overcooked appetizer to arrive.
